The McGehee
Soccer team had a kickin’ season. The Junior Varsity and Varsity team did very
well throughout the season. Though, the Varsity team had an upsetting loss
against Sacred Heart, who sadly got McGehee out of the playoffs.
A McGehee
soccer player, Conery Schmidt, Who played on both JV and Varsity said, “I felt
upset and defeated, but it was ok because we all tried our hardest.” Schmidt also
explained that she thought the team did well over all, but she just felt they
should have communicated more. The Sacred Heart team was a very advanced team,
and McGehee was very brave against them.
Schmidt
said, “I think both teams did really well the whole season! JV only lost two
games and Varsity lost a few.”
