Parker Lacewell Interviews Gabby Douglas

On December 9, 2012 Parker Lacewell interviewed Gabby Douglas. The interview was on her Mom’s show, the Melissa Harris Perry Show. Before the show, Gabby talked to Parker. They didn’t have much to say but a simple hello. 

When Parker got on the show, she was really outgoing and did not seem to be nervous, but she was.  She said that she was very excited to be interviewing Gabby Douglas. According to Parker, “ I was very confident that I would mess up.” She thought that Gabby had a good time because her attitude was really positive. 

She said that everyone was probably surprised that she was interviewing Gabby and not her mom. When Parker’s mom asked her if she wanted to interview Gabby Douglas Parker exclaimed, “YES!” 

After the interview she asked Gabby if she wanted to go and get a cappuccino with out coffee because she is not allowed to drink coffee. Even though Gabby said no, Parker still enjoyed the experience interviewing Gabby Douglas.
