This year the middle school talent show was a success! On Friday February 1st we all gathered in the auditorium. The people on the basketball team in fifth grade performed “Head in the Game” from High School Musical. There were 5 people in the group Claire, Mia, Annabelle, Rebecca, and Sadie.
A lot of the group also did solos and dressed up. Mia sang “Love Story” by Taylor Swift and did great. Claire sang “You belong with me” by Taylor Swift and it was a hit. And last but not least was Sadie who sang “Just the Way You Are” by Bruno Mars.
Sadie’s favorite part was seeing the crowd cheer for her. At the end for the finale the teachers all danced. Everybody loved it! It is a great tradition to have a talent show or some talents would not be shown. Over all Matilda Knight won the talent show singing and playing electric guitar to “ Marry the Night ” by Lady Gaga.
